Jim Hyland is a founder, operator, and strategic advisor with deep expertise in food manufacturing, scaling operations, and guiding emerging brands toward sustainable growth.
He founded The Farm Bridge, transforming an abandoned IBM building into the Hudson Valley’s leading 30,000-square-foot specialty co-packing facility. From 2009 to 2021, Jim led its evolution into a critical hub for farmers and food entrepreneurs—helping commercialize hundreds of recipes and launch products across retail, institutional, and home delivery channels.
In 2021, Jim joined Good Roots, a consulting firm specializing in accounting and fractional C-suite services, where he served as interim COO for Painterland Sisters Yogurt during a pivotal 15-month growth phase. After successfully transitioning that role to a full-time internal hire, Jim became a Partner Consultant at P2R Group, where he continues to help food and beverage startups and growth-stage brands scale sustainably.
